How do I select everything in a layer? I searched everywhere, I can't find an answer.

PS: My OS is Windows.

Select/Select All (shortcut: CTRL+A). This is pretty standard in pretty much any application.

You mean the menu > "Select > Select All (CTRL+A)"?
In case you're referring to vector objects (text and/or shapes), you have to switch to the "Select Shapes Tool" first (toolbox docker) and then click and drag over the canvas to select them.
