Hi guys I just wanted to asked, if some of you here have the same Problem as I do. I am using Krita on my Mac and since the new Version came out (I used 4.1.3 on windows before) when I tried to change the Display settings (now in preferences) and go to the Renderer tap, it's locked. I can not change from Open Gl to Angle. Next to the Tap it says ''Renderer needs a Restart''. Because of Open Gl I have problems with my Brushes. Does someone know a Solution for this ?? How can I unlock this tap ? I already deinstalled and installed it multiple times. A friend of my has the same Problem on his Computer.

best regards
Debbie

Angle is not available on macOS, so the choice is between enabling GPU acceleration or not. That's the checkbox above the combobox. We probably should hide the combobox on macOS and Linux...

ANGLE is a Windows technology, so I don't think OSX will have an option for that.

To turn it off, you should be able to uncheck the "Canvas Graphics acceleration" checkbox above the renderer. That should turn off OpenGL
