I have seen many people have this problem, but no one has quite had it like mine (that I've seen.)
I was in Krita working on character art for one of the characters in my novel, when I decided to make my life easier and import a abr file I had for photoshop. It started to load them, and then it crashed with the typical "krita.exe has stopped working." It has happened before, many times, my krita is a repeat offender for crashing. Only, this time, it wouldn't start up again. I just keep getting the same error.
So, I ran through all the fixes that had already occurred on this forum. Checked my drivers, all up to date. Uninstalled and got rid of all Krita files, reinstalled. Still nothing. I figured maybe the brush pack itself was still somehow causing an issue, so I deleted it, cleaned my computer, rebooted and reinstalled again. Nothing.
I'm pretty tech savvy, I think, but this has me wanting to pull out my hair.
Somebody send help! :(

Update: I installed Krita 4.0 and then 4.1.0, thinking an older version would solve the problem, and it's still doing the same thing. I'm all out of ideas and options. Really don't want to use photoshop :(

Well, a 32 bits Windows 7 system will always be less stable than an up-to-date system. Drivers will be outdated and more buggy, and the system can use less memory. That said, the first thing to do is get a crash log: https://docs.krita.org/en/reference_man ... ml#dr-minw , Then we can figure out whether the issues happen in the graphics driver, for instance.
