Opening file in Krita 4.2.9 on windows gives me no problems.



So the crash could be caused by something else. Lets discard a configuration problem. have you tried resetting your configuration? If not, do so following this instructions https://docs.krita.org/en/KritaFAQ.html#resetting-krita-configuration

Also on rare instances this could also be a due a damaged Resource: palettes, brushes, etc. (this could happen downloaded resources, but its not a common ocurrence) Remove/rename resources folder https://docs.krita.org/en/KritaFAQ.html#where-are-my-resources-stored

Tried resetting the configuration, still didn't fix it, so sounds like the second issue might be the problem. I will look into that when I get a chance and get back to you with my update.
