Filter for photos of whiteboard drawings

I would like to use Krita to clean images taken from a white board. Which filters should I apply in order to have a clean 'white' background to my drawn charts.

I want to achieve something similar as shown to be possible with this command line tool. https://gist.github.com/lelandbatey/8677901

Hi, you can do that by going in Filter > Start GMIC Qt , in the top search field of the GMIC filter windows enter "scan" to access quickly to the Repair > Repair Scanned Document filter. Press OK and done. This filter cleans and preserves the colors.
