So for Christmas i went out and i bough a new screened drawing tablet, one that claimed that it was compatible; and for a little while it worked completely fine. that is until i updated. since updating as soon as the the tablet briefly disconnects and reconnects for the first time on krita i get this graphics glitch https://drive.google.com/open?id=1XR9nD ... 5X7ziPH17L or https://drive.google.com/open?id=11y813 ... ZSFnDTEqgv it's not my tablet as i get this issue no where else and i would really like to continue using krita but this glitch is really annoying to work around. I've tried going back to the previous version of krita and i still had the issue their. i'm not sure what i should do. I've uninstalled both krita and my tablet and reinstalled but it didn't fix anything.
Tablet is a xp-pen artist pro 12

What is the brand of Tablet ?
Is the update means Krita Update or Driver update ? If that happens after Driver update try using the old driver. You said it worked fine before the update

Your google drive links should be: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1XR9nD ... 5X7ziPH17L or https://drive.google.com/open?id=11y813 ... ZSFnDTEqgv
(It's always a good idea to test links after you've posted them then you can edit them in case of a problem.) Is the 'glitch' that small faint circle above the short line? Does it happen before or after you start/finish the line? Did you download the latest tablet driver from the manufacturer's website? (Make sure you uninstall the existing driver before installing any replacement driver.) Which version of krita were you running and which version did you update to? |

Is the glitch following the cursor? Are you on Windows 10?
I've the same problem if i set the scale of my main monitor to 125% : kde seems to have problem with scaling viewtopic.php?f=139&t=152716 To make krita work perfectly, i've to set my main monitor to 100% (even if it look small on a 4k monitor), so the ui look perfect. Or you can try to make your pen display monitor as the "primary" monitor. i didn't find other solutions.

It also seems related to the GPU and driver combination: I generally have my desktop scaled to 150% on my Mobile Studio Pro, and don't see this issue.

@boudewijn i only have the issue when using 2 monitors and if the tablet display (where i use Krita) is not the primary display and with a scale of 125% on the primary one.

Thank you for the help, it turns out that the cause was in fact the monitor resolution. thank you for the help, to answer other questions the tablet was an xp-pen artist pro , and i was running krita 4.04 before and updated to 4.1.7.
