Hi! I'm trying pixel art/animation for the first time. My first animation went well and everything worked smoothly. However, I started my second one and ran into an issue. When I play it the animation freezes on a certain frame.
The bar that moves left to right to show which frame it's currently on moves perfectly fine. I checked each frame to make sure that the actual frame had the right image on it and that it should be moving and they were all fine (meaning there was a change between each individual frame, they weren't the same). Yet for some reason the image that is actually played on the screen does not move after a certain point. The actual image itself moves for 4 frames and then freezes until the preview ends and loops back to the start. I can't figure out why it's freezing on that spot. I think it could possibly be because I wanted to copy and paste the frames I drew before (the 4 frames that are working) so I selected the ones I wanted to copy by shift-clicking and then held ctrl and dragged them frames over to where I wanted. My theory is that the copied frames aren't working but I have no clue why or how to copy them any differently. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it. |

Hi, could be yours the same issue described in Bug 403085?

Are you doing a small (16 x 16 or 32 X 32) animated sprite type of animation? If so, there have been previous problems when doing small animations:
viewtopic.php?f=139&t=156111&hilit=sprite It's interesting and annoying. If not, can you post a link to your .kra animation so that someone might take a look at it and hopefully identify any problems? |

I think it worked out? It seems to work now. In case anyone else has this issue, all I did was save-as again and then exit the program. Then I turned off my computer and then the next day I logged back in and opened it and it seems to work. I guess all I needed was to restart my computer. Sorry to bother everyone.
