Hi all think I posted this in the wrong place originally,
I made a simple colored stamp. Black circle filled with a dark grey. I've noticed that this stamp either doesn't show multiple colors (using pixel brush) or comes out transparent (using stamp tool/brush). I can't figure out how to fix either of these approaches. I'd like the circle to come out as is drawn with solid colors. Is this possible? Using basic brush to draw the shape. Any help is appreciated. Thanks! |

The stamp (or brush) image needs to be made as a greyscale colour space image saved as a .gbr (GIMP brush) or .png file. If you didn't do that then you can convert it using Image -> Convert Image Colour Space.
The 'stamp' and 'brush' presets all use the pixel engine and the stamp presets are intended to be used as stamps, i.e. not with a brushing/stroking action. The differences you noticed could be due to any of many factors in the detailed parameters of the particular preset you tried to modify. Can you try again and use a greyscale image exported as .gbr or .png and edit a simple stamp preset, such as the deevad stamps, then change the brush tip to your stamp? |
