Hello, it's me again, I hope I'm in the right section for this kind of problem.
I wanted to try painting with Krita on my new Laptop, a Lenovo Yoga which comes with its own Pen. When I did, I had this annoying bug: when I put up the pen out of the detection zone of the screen, and put it back again eslewhere on the screen (the kind of things I do every second), it automatically creates a brushed line joining the two points, with augmenting virtual pressure. It's like I would have painted a line but starting from no pressure to the maximum pressure at the last segment of the line. I really don't understand how this can happen. Also sometimes my pen just isn't recognized as a brush, I can still click on any button but not draw, even when I have the brush mode and a different color than the background (I checked several times). Thanks for you help, RedSPINE |

Can't help much as don't have that hardware/software (windows) but I've seen many at times that windows users get odd behaving after updates, as this sometimes disrupt the settings of the tablet drivers (pen only in your case?), no sure which integrated hardware brand is included with your computer (wacom?) thus, I would first check that you are using the newest drivers for you pen and that the settings for it is correct, even if other programs work fine, as they may interpret input settings differently bypassing the real driver settings. Hopefully you get some pointers as to where to look for.

Yes it uses Wacom drivers, I'm gonna look this way, thank you very much for trying to help, that's nice I'll tell you if I can solve the problem and how I did it if I achieve it, so maybe it can help other users in the future. If anyone else have the same hardware than me, feel free to tell me how you bypassed the problem if you encountered it too.

Have you tried disabling 'flicks' or 'gestures' in the Windows Ink settings/controls?
