Hello! Krita is great for animation - I have set up my own shortcuts to make my workflow smooth and everything works great. This is really the best free software to use for animation right now! There is only one minor inconvenience that I don't know how to solve.

Whenever I change the framerate, the start or end frame, I need to click somewhere on the interface to get out of the text input box. Sometimes I forget about that and push esc or enter (out of habit) and then end up typing a bunch of shortcuts into the text box, wondering why nothing is happening. Is there a key I can push to exit the text input box? Thank you!

Shift+Tab will do what you want but it's not a listed shortcut so this may be accidental. You could try it to see if it's useful for you.
