I'm self taught in another art program and recently made the move to Krita. The thing is, when I paste an image, especially a screenshot, onto Krita's canvas,it always crops the outer 10% or so. I've tried as web and as monitor and nothing changes it. I'm still learning the program, but I'd like to know if anyone has any tups on how to prevent the crop.
Thanks so much! -New to Krita and haven't been on forums in years |

Sounds like your canvas is too small for the pasted image. If you press Ctr+T after pasting (or click the transform tool), you can scale the pasted image down until it fits.
(The as web/monitor setting is for colour management, not size.) |

You can also use edit->paste as new image, which pastes the clipboard entry as it's own canvas.
