Hello,
Since the last update Ive had a minor problem with the arrow cursor showing even when I select to hide cursor. I have to keep going into preferences and selecting none. I'm on Manjaro with Cinnamon Cheers,. |

Can you say from which version to what version you're referring to and is it the appimage? I've started having a cursor related problem with the tablet and another strange thing that I'm looking into right now.
Have you recently updated/upgraded your Manjaro installation? Have you recently done anything else that might be significant? |

If you're on 4.2 pre-alpha, then this might be a certain tablet bug we're trying to fix but we need to get patches into qt for it to really work.

Hiya,
I'm on the 4.1.8 version. it was included as an update when Manjaro did a big repository update a few days ago. I thought it might be a one off thing so restarted computer and its still there and REALLY annoying when inking :@ It actually changes from the arrow cursor to other random tool icons when switching between different tools like the lasso tool or even the colour picker. The only thing that's changed is the recent update. |

Ah! So the bug in 4.2 is caused by qt 5.12, so it might also affect the 4.1.x series.

@TheraHedwig: Based on the description by karri above, the cursor bug that I have is a different thing and only present when I use my Wacom tablet. It is not present in the 4.1.7 appimage (original release) or the 16th March 4.1.7.101 Stable appimage release. It is present in the 12 March and 16 March 4.2.0 pre-alpha appimages but all of these report the use of Qt 5.10.0 so I'll keep looking into this and make a separate post when I find anything useful/interesting.
Is 4.1.8 generally available? |
