Hallo.
I have been trying to get Krita to work from the git build for a few weeks now. I had an update for plasma that messed up my Krita installation. So I tried rebuilding Krita again, but had the same result. I have Krita installed from my distro which works, but it has some buggy things with the color picker that drives me nuts, which the git build did not have. I also have better performance with the git build. I have checked all the dependencies and I have all I need. Here is the output that I get from gdb
My system:
I hope that is enough to get an idea what is wrong, because I can not figure it out. Thank you very much. |

"/home/rbear/kritadev/install/bin/krita: error while loading shared libraries: libgsl.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"
Well, that shows what's wrong. How you actually managed to build Krita without a working gsl library is a bit of a mystery, but since you're using Gentoo, all bets are off. It's just too easy to get Gentoo in a weird state. |
