I have been trying to find the way of importing a csv animation file I exported from TVPaint for days now. I have read the manual and seems that there is an inbuilt way to do it but I just can't get it.

Just trying to 'open' the csv file doesn't work?

It might've gotten broken. That plugin doesn't see a lot of use, and I don't have any test files to check with.

If so is there nothing that can be done from my side other than maybe trying older versions? |

Thank you for the quick respond. If you know what was the last version in which the plugin still worked? |

No, no idea, it is really very little used, and the most important issue is that I myself do not have access to tvpaint, so we cannot check which version it last worked for.

I went back to 3.3.3 and still nothing so I gave up on this for now. Is there a way for me to contact the creator of the plugin or should I just wait for new releases? Sorry for the bother it's just this would make life much easier. |

You can find out who has created something by checking the source code: https://phabricator.kde.org/source/krit ... v_loader.h , for instance.

I am a TVPaint user and can confirm that the CSV import in Krita is not currently working.
When I try to open/import a CSV file in Krita I get the error message: "The file format cannot be parsed". The issue was recently discussed on the TVPaint forum and one of the TVPaint developers mentioned he planned to send some files to the Krita developers for testing to see how the issue could be fixed. If you would like I could also send you a few test files . Where would I send them ? (or just post a Google Drive link to download the files ?) . |

Right now, nobody of the full-time krita developers has time to maintain this plugin, I'm afraid. What we really need is someone who needs it to start hacking on it.
