Hello!
I've started to use Krita 4.1.7 a week ago, and since I was used to the older version (I used the 2.9.9 one) I have noticed that quite a lot of things changed... However after spending some time exploring the new tools/presets I have encountered a problem with the selection tools, all of them. From the rectangular selection to the outline one. Basically my problem is that the program won't show me the parts that I have selected. The dashed line won't appear, thus making it impossible for me to check if I selected precisely what I wanted. This problem also shows with the "transform a layer or a selection" tool. Whenever I use the latter the selection I made disappears for some reason, and I can't see how much I am stretching/shrinking it or if I am rotating it. I need to press 'enter' everytime to check if I'm modifying the selection correctly. I tried to check in the settings if I had something turned off but the "display selection" option is turned on... however, it doesn't show up. What can I do? Thank you for reading, I'll wait for a reply. ![]() |

Is your graphics acceleration enabled? (settings->configure Krita->display).

This is the current situation in the Display settings. ![]() |

I have turned the option off and now it works just as fine, I can see the selections now. Thank you very much! |

Ah, that's a pity. Graphics acceleration makes Krita a ton faster
