I was about to begin working on an animation in Krita, but when I plugged in my Wacom tablet; it wouldn't respond to pen pressure. This occasionally happens to me so I wasn't worried. So I saved my Krita animation, and did a hard restart on my computer. However when I went back to Krita to open my file... my file couldn't be opened. A message popped up saying, "Could not open (where animation is stored on my computer) Reason: Not a valid Krita file (animation location again)" But when I tried to manually open it in my file explorer... the same message popped up in Krita. However, the file is (apparently) 2.23 MB AND a '.kra' file... so the information must still be there. Could someone please help me recover my animation? Thanks!

2.23 mb is very small... especially for an animation. Try to rename the file to .zip and use ziprepair pro; if that doesn't work, it's lost.
