Hi! Just started using Krita a few months ago, and I've noticed a huge difference in saturation while I'm working. Everything, when viewed in Krita, is super bright and saturated, but pre/post export, it desaturates noticeably. I've made quite a few paintings now that end up with disappointing value scales! I'm also super nervous to start playing with colour settings because it seems insanely complicated and I've already managed to F up my computer's colour values at least as far as sending things to my phone is concerned.

We might need more info on your setup.
What color space you work on, what colordepth?. do you embed your ICC on the jpeg on saving or not? Are you optimizing jpg (subsampling colors etc, this is on advanced options on jpg save)? And what display color profile are you using? have you enabled any "Color profile testing" in Preview.app? What version of krita are you using? Thanks ![]()

Oh man!!! I don't know why I missed it before but all I had to do (apparently, because all seems fine now), is change my computer's color space to sRGB IEC61966-2.1 , to match Krita. Thank you so so so much, all your questions were super helpful ! I was blind but now I see .
