Hi everyone! Once again I come to you, oh-wise community, for guidance. This time it's related to the Clone Tool brush, which for the love of me I cannot make it behave as expected (that is, the same way as it behaves in Clip Studio Paint, Photoshop, Gimp or PaintStorm), allowing me to clone the same area multiple times in my paint without needing to manually re-set the clone area every time (error-prone). Instead the clone area keeps moving even after releasing the pen-pressure.
I've tried to find a modifier that allows me to adapt it's behaviour to achieve this, but that It's definitely not on the tool options for the clone tool, and I can't seem to find any property in the brush editor that allows me to achieve this behaviour. Any ideas of where that modifier could be? Thank you very much in advance! Kind regards |

This has been reported as a 'wishlist' bug, late last year: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=402559
You could go in there and sign up then log in and add your comments on the subject, then set it to CONFIRMED to raise the profile? There is another shortfall in the clone brush behaviour that has been reported: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=401919 |

FYI the last nightly includes proper behaviour for clone brush and it seems to work well! Thank you so much Krita team (specially Agata Cacko) for such a rapid fix!
