Hi, I'm new here. In fact, I joined this forum only for the sake of presenting this problem I've been having.

It's all in the title, really; when working with even moderately sized projects (like... with only a few megabytes in file size), opening the layer styles panel on any layer typically results in Krita closing after a couple seconds. If it happens once for a given file, it'll happen all the time.
Also, it may just be placebo but I notice it happening more frequently when I try to select the "pattern overlay" tab, or at least when I intend to do so.

If Krita crashes for you, then that's either a bug or a problem with your system (like bad memory). Please first try the latest nightly build (https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Krit ... ows_Build/), and if the problem persists, report a bug, and do not omit the following:

* attach a copy of the file with which this happens
* copy the output of help/system information for bug reports to the bug report
* attach a crash log (see https://docs.krita.org/en/reference_man ... ml#dr-minw)
