Lasso tool keyboard shortcut?

Fri Apr 19, 2019 11:27 pm
As a regular user of Krita there is one task I have that has become tedious by repetition. I've read all of https://docs.krita.org/en/reference_man ... elect.html and is it me or is there a keyboard shortcut for this lasso tool?

I don't think there is one by default, but you can give this tool (or any) a desired shortcut, go into the Krita settings > Configure Krita > Keyboard Shortcuts > then on the right panel (that shows the the tools/actions with their shortcuts) you can type "outline", (or scroll till you find it) and designate any combination you want. :)

This saves me a lot of trackpointing. It is just that I would prefer Photoshop but it is illegal to do so in my circumstances. And, I must say until now Krita is able to save my day. It's interface isn't easy but a heck of lot lesser masochistic then Gimp. If you search for 'meaning gimp', it really isn't a bad idea to stop using it. But of course this are my 2 cents. Thank you.
