Since I downloaded the latest version of Krita, I've had a couple of problems. First, whenever I tapped on my tablet, it double-clicked instead. Then, after I tried saving, it never finishes saving. I never even see any progress bars. Strangely, it still successfully autosaves (in fact, when I try to save for real, the program usually just autosaves every five seconds.)

It never finishes saving? or it never starts saving. I had the strange feeling I had the same problem once, it strangely did not start to save. But hitting "save" again made it do it. However I couldn't reproduce which made me think I probably hitted "cancel" instead of ok. How big was the image that didn't wanted to save? any particular filters applied to layers??

The files I'm working with are around 20 megabytes, and they work just fine in other programs. I also tried opening a PNG file instead of a PSD and saved it after working on it a bit. It saved in a couple of seconds.
Maybe the size of the files really is the problem. Krita actually worked with the same files fine before I updated, and I'm fairly convinced that's the problem. Should I switch back to a previous version? |

What version of Krita did you use before? What format did you try to save to? Is there anything special about the directory you try to save to?

I think I previously used 3.3.3. I wanted to save to a flash drive. I wasn't trying to export to PNG or anything. I just had to save my progress on a Photoshop file.
