This depends on which version of Krita you are using? The PPA? The Official repository version? The appimage?

The 4.1.7 (13 Dec 2018) appimage has the scripts in the Tools menu. The 4.1.7.101 (Krita Plus/Stable but no longer available) appimage did have the scripts. The newer 4.1.8 (Krita Plus/Stable) appimage does not have the scripts in the Tools menu, this is puzzling. None of the 4.2.0 pre-alpha (Krita Next) appimages have had scripts in them. I'd always assumed that this was because 4.2.0 pre-alphas were not intended for 'normal' use.

We updated our dependencies to Qt 5.12, which means we had to update PyQt and sip -- and though the deps build fine, the krita build system doesn't find them. I'm trying to find out why, but I'm also distracted with other bugs and, in short, Bob is not my uncle, right now.
