Hi,
I am new to Krita. For years I've been using Photoshop and would like to replace it with Krita.
When using my old Cintiq, I would like to have the canvas only on its screen. It has a 12 inches screen and I could use all of its pixels to draw. On top of that, it's colours aren't that accurate anymore, hence the importance to have most of the dockers on my main screen.

So how do I undock the canvas out of the application frame? *
With Multiple Document Mode > Subwindows, I can only move the windowed canvas inside the application frame. Trying to drag it out only places it offscreen in the application frame.

Dragging the dockers out of the application frameworks but I can't stack them anymore and, more important, I can't resize them.

configuration > General > Tools:
tools in toolbar (instead of docker)
configuration > General > Window:
Multiple Document Mode: Subwindows

** Of course, I can use canvas-only mode, but I still have the problem of my colour dockers

That's just not possible. It's a limitation of the development framework we use.

I don't know much if anything about the Mac or the Cintiq but on Windows and Linux you can't stack/tab floating dockers. What I do is arrange them overlapping but with their title bars visible so I can select them by clicking on the title bar. However, I can adjust the size of those dockers by dragging the edges.

Can you drag the edge of the krita application window so that it extends onto the Mac monitor? I realise there will probably be a size/resolution mismatch between them if you do that. However, if you can do that, you can arrange tabbed dockers on the Mac monitor and drag the krita workspace edge to position it so that the canvas is on the Cintiq and the dockers are on the Mac in a normal grouped and tabbed arrangement. Then you can save that arrangement as a named Workspace. Since I have two equal sized monitiors spanned side by side it's easy for me to do that and have it look good/sensible. I might not work well for you if at all

Yes! @ahabgreybeard, this is possible, I had to change some settings but your second suggestion totally works.
