Would someone help me uninstall over 50 copies of Krita in my Linux Peppermint9 laptop (HP Stream11).
I am a newbie to Linux and to Krita. I just want one copy, not 100!

What you're running into is not 50 copies of Krita, but a bug in Linux Mint's desktop where they don't follow the freedesktop.org standard for .desktop files. Krita's import/export filters have their own .desktop files because they are plugins. They have the NoDisplay=true entry. But some time ago, in their infinite wisdom, GTK's developers have decided that that entry should no longer be honored, with the result that you're seeing now.

They are wrong. And also wrong to unilaterally decide to mess up the standard. See https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=403194 and the gnome links that it contains.

I come from a Windows 8.1 environment where I could choose a 3rd party software uninstaller instead of the one built-in.
Being a newbie to Peppermint 9 and its uninstaller (I have tried almost 100 times to uninstall Krita) is not working for me, is there a different uninstaller that Peppermint will allow me to download in order to uninstall Krita? Or should I just ignore Krita and use something else?
But, I do have to worry about HD space as I have a HP Stream 11 that has a 32GB HD and that is why I chose to install Peppermint 9... because it is a low-resource distro. So, I do know something. Or should I uninstall Linux and reinstall it again without Krita, since that is my woe?

No, this is a bug in Linux Mint (mint as in the plant, not the sweet made from it), the best you can do is report it to them.

You do NOT have 100 copies of Krita installed. You only have ONE copy of Krita installed.

I've a question Is it possible to move multiple layers at once into another krita document?

It would have been better to post a new topic instead of replying to a previous topic, but here goes ....

You can select/highlight multiple layers, using the usual Ctrl/Shift-click actions and then Cut them from the source document and Paste them into the destination document, just like you do when you're manipulating files and folders in the file explorer.
