Hi there,

I've had some issues on my Surface Pro 4 which might be helped with the configuration settings - if only I could 'Apply' them. The configuration window opens but conceals the bottom of the pop-up window. I can move the pop-up sideways and down, but can't resize it. In Krita 4.19 the bottom had a button which you could click 'Apply', so I might guess it is concealed there. Selecting options and closing the windows just returns the settings to their defaults. In particular I wanted to try advice from another topic: "Either fix your windows display scaling settings or disable hidpi support in Krita." - which I hoped might fix this issue. As the configuration panel is pretty fundamental I would appreciate any help in getting this functional.

System: Surface Pro 4, Windows 10, with Intel HD graphics

Try Settings->Configure Krita->General->Window->uncheck "Enable Hi-DPI support"
Then press Tab three times, then press Space. Then restart krita. Hope it helps.

But there is no button for "Apply," just "OK" and "Cancel."

@tusooaw - thanks for the fast reply. Tab cycles through the options & Space will check / uncheck options - neither of them apply the changes. I called it 'Apply' but understand the button is 'OK' - the button is not visible to me, as it is below the screen. Changes made are not committed = restarting Krita - reveals no changes have been made to the defaults.

Try ALt+O, the shortcut for OK

This worked to apply the Configuration changes - thanks for that! Unchecked 'Hidpi support' + re-start and pop-up fully visible - everything looks super small and squished in, but maybe that's a topic for another day.

Go to Windows' settings dialog. What is your display scalling set to?

With '(Hi-DPI) Enable fractional scale factor' checked - I could not re-scale icons. With it unchecked I have been able to make the icons readable.
