Converting a Layer to a Frame

Sun Jun 09, 2019 10:04 pm
Was accidentally working in a separate layer each time rather than a separate frame, any way to convert a layer to a frame within a different layer?
To be a little more specific, I was drawing in a new layer for every movement, rather than a new frame within the same layer. Is there any way to put these other layers into a frame? Thanks.

Right-click on the beginning of the Timeline -> "Add duplicate frame", then make sure you see both a layer you'll be moving the frame from (group_1) and the destination layer (layer 116). Then just click on the new filled frame on layer group_1 and drag & drop it on the correct place on the layer116 Timeline.

The only problem is that group_1 is a group, not a layer. But I guess you have a layer you've been working on somewhere inside this group; if you have several layers, either merge them or repeat all of the steps I mentioned above for all of the layers in the group.
