"This app cannot run on your PC" is an OS message, not one from within Krita. You're not by any chance trying to run a 64 bit version of Krita on a 32 bit version of Windows? I guess not... Otherwise you wouldn't have been able to run previous builds.

Okay, then it's normal a 64 bits binary won't run. I wonder how you tested the earlier builds, then.

I had the same problem. I replaced the d3dcompiler_47.dll file bundled with krita. I had looked for another file named d3dcompiler_47.dll on my hard drive, I found it in a subdirectory in Windows \ WinSxS \. You can also use another version bundled with the Mixxx software.
