I thought I'd mention this even though it's no longer a problem. A few minutes ago none of the brushes were working unless I created a new layer or a new document. I don't know if it's because I was playing with brush settings again or rearranging my Favorite brushes list.

Are you sure you hadn't locked your layer, or had a really small selection somewhere?

The layers weren't locked. I don't know if I still had a selection at the time but I'll write back if it happens again.

Hi. It happened again. It does involve creating a selection but I think it involved a custom brush I made. When I immediately made a new document use the same brush it wouldn't work. So I restarted Krita.
