When I select a color, Krita draws fine, however, if I select a shade using the selector shown in the image below, there are discontinuities in the stroke. What can I do to resolve the issue?

Sorry, I just rebooted to Windows 10 to try to reproduce, and I cannot do that. I would have been really surprised, too, if I could have reproduced the issue because it makes no sense... Does this happen for you with all brush presets, or only with some?

I checked this for three other brushes and it happens again.
Even if I only use mouse instead of pen, the same thing happens.

Would you be able to make a screen recording? Maybe that would help...

Which version of Krita are you using? Which brush (please reproduce on a default brush and tell us the name)? Which bit depth and color space (should be written on the bottom bar of the Krita window; you can also go to Image -> Properties and find out this way)?

If I change the color model from CMYK to RGB, I do not have the issue anymore.
