I'm using Krita 4.2.2 on Mac OSX 10.14.5. When I apply a Stroke Emboss layer style, nothing happens even when I apply an inside Stroke. I've tried this with all Technique options (smooth, chisel hard, chisel soft), but nothing changes.
I don't know how to attach images here, so here's a screenshot. I've applied a black inside Stroke with a size of 10px.

On a separate note, Bug #362930 still seems to be unresolved. All Bevel and Emboss options except for Stroke Emboss highlight the entire layer.

It works on 4.2.5, fiddling with the style settings the update is slow
