sorry if this is stupid but
i hadnt updated my krita in a long time and now that i have, whenever i pinch to zoom ( i use a touch screen laptop) it rotates as well. is there any way to disable the rotation?
i tried deleting the 'gesture' shortcut under rotate canvas in canvas input settings, but this didnt do the trick
is there anything i can do?

I want to know it too. Can't seem to find the option to disable it anywhere.

An option to disable rotation was added just yesterday and should be available in the next bugfix release of Krita. If you're very impatient, you can download one of the nightly builds on the Krita website, which already include it. Then you'll find it in Configure Krita > General > Tools > Enable Touch Rotation.

And the shortcut to reset canvas rotation to 0° is the 5-key.
