so I made an animation that is 315 frames and at the end I wanted to make all to go down (I had like 10 layers for deferent stuff *wind, landscape, characters, etc*) so in order to make "the camera" go up I needed to merge them and slowly moved the merged layer down BUT after that my save file became 6Bg ... why?
idk if this will help but in the middle of my animation i needed to "zoom" so i made the layer 1 (the eye of a dragon) bigger and bigger i saw that the rest of the eye (outside the canvas) not deleting so i think that its that "trash" that made my file 6BG after the Merge of all my layers. Thank you ! |

A 6GB .kra file is extremely large for a .kra file. Do you mean that the image memory requirements in krita are 6GB? If your .kra file is really 6GB, how much RAM does krita use when you open the .kra file?
Anyway ......... if you have lots of off-canvas content that you don't need, you can get rid of it by doing Image -> Trim To Image Size. |

hi, thx for the 2nd part but actually the file .kra himself is 6Gb after i merged everything, before that it was around 23MB which is normal i think ^^ ah btw i got a backup of my animation Before the Merge and whenever i tried to save the Merged product (aka 6GB) it took so long that i canceled the save process . if u have any tip to make All 10 layers go down at the same time so it makes a feeling that camera is going up (i mean a better one than Merging everything and ...) i would like to see thank you again |
