After the new upate Krita opened once then it crashed, after that it has been unable to open. I have both the free version and the Stream version and both are having the same issue. Ive tried all the basic restarts: redownload, deleating logs, using older versions.... everything but I still cant get it to open up. I did run a debug and the logs dont show anything out of the ordinary.
Basically it opens shows the startup artwork then closes completely. it doesn't even show up in my task manager. I have a windows 10 PC with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 16 RAM so i doubt its my systems requirements that are causing issues. |

* Make a crash log: https://docs.krita.org/en/reference_man ... ml#dr-minw
* Removing logs? That doesn't sound useful -- reset Krita's settings: https://docs.krita.org/en/KritaFAQ.html ... figuration -- make sure to also remove the kritadisplayrc file. * Check whether your GPU driver is up to date, check whether there is other software running like non-windows "security" software, check whether Krita runs when started as another user, as administrator or in compatibility mode. * When you mention logs, well, why not give a link to them, so we can see them too? kritacrash.log, krita.log and the output of debugview (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysint ... /debugview) can all be interesting. |
