I have just tried out krita for the first time and have been having issues with brush strokes randomly veering off the canvas as well as random lag during brush strokes. Here is an image to show what I mean https://i.imgur.com/8671LVW.png. I have also tried a few different brushes and adjusting my canvas resolution/dpi and I am still getting the same issue. Does anyone have any idea why this would occur? I am running krita 4.2.3 on macOS Mojave.
