Krita doesn't open

Thu Aug 01, 2019 4:16 pm
I installed krita not even an hour ago, but when I open it for the first time, it doesn't open, and this, I waited about 30 minutes to open.

I went to see if the task manager showed it, but when it opens in the icon, it is in the background for a while as if it was opening, then disappears, and nothing, just not open, could someone answer me a solution?

Not without a whole lot more information.

* Which version of Krita
* Which OS
* Which version of the OS
* What hardware: cpu, gpu, memory
* What gpu drivers and which version do you have
* What other stuff, like security software, is installed on your system
* If on Windows, what does debugview show (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysint ... /debugview), if not, is there any interesting output when you start Krita from a terminal
* If on Windows, do you get a crash log (https://docs.krita.org/en/reference_man ... ml#dr-minw), if on macOS, try lldb, if Linux, gdb to get a crash log.
