Hi. I created some brushes for Krita 4. 1. 7. Posted them on Deviantart - some packs for free and some for a dollar. 2 of brushpacks were accepted by Krita group. The rest were expired and some were declined. Today i got a comment that one of my pack contain 6 broken brushes of 9. And this pack is among the ones that were declined. I don't know what to do - everything works with my Krita. Here is the pack:
https://www.deviantart.com/vilmamonster ... -807991802 So as the most of the brushes are broken, i flagged off "Free Download". But i did not-for-public download in case if you would like to check it https://sta.sh/0ej34p3bzwq Here are the rest of free brushes, it will be optimal if their work will be checked https://www.deviantart.com/vilmamonster ... -807977540 https://www.deviantart.com/vilmamonster ... -807973695 These 2 were accepted. But i want to be sure that they can work. https://www.deviantart.com/vilmamonster ... -804380944 https://www.deviantart.com/vilmamonster ... -804381713 Free download for a check: https://sta.sh/0m3a0luqzps https://sta.sh/01vwbwmgzgpd And the rest of pack that were declined: https://www.deviantart.com/vilmamonster ... -807983633 https://sta.sh/02d7mjgw4ljf Brushes with the textures i created. I have no idea if they will work with somebody's Krita. But they work with mine. https://sta.sh/01egpzaeoozo

In many cases, you rely on the existing Krita_3_Default_Resources and Krita_4_Default_Resources brushes (brush tips) to be available. This is reasonable but some people may have those bundles disabled in their installation in order to simplify their work, especially if they're keen on personal customisation.
It would be a good idea to make a clear statement that a particular collection needs either the Krita_3 or Krita_4 bundles to be enabled. The Hi-Teck brush presets need the Krita_3_Default_Resources to be enabled since these contain some brush tips that are not available in the Krita_4_Default_Resources bundle. This is an example of how confusing the situation can be. The Japanese brush presets don't work on my installation because I don't have the brush tips that they require. They're not in the Krita_3_ or Krita_4_ default bundles. In situations like this, you need to provide the brush tips, either as part of a bundle file or as an additional folder of brush tips to go with the provided folder of brush presets. The Normal Map brush presets work fine because they use Auto brush tips, which are always available. However, you put a My Favorites tag on them so they now appear in my personal 'My favorites' listing and I don't want them there. A better tag would be VM_Normal_Map or whatever. |

Thanks for the answer. If i knew that the tags will be imported with the brushes, i would imported them untagged. In any case i understood how to make everything in order. Is this bundle correct? https://sta.sh/0vb4tb155kv
