I was testing out the brush smoothing settings/stabilizer options, but when I turned it to the weighted one, the brush was full of dots. (like if you set the brush to have higher spacing.) Even when I switched it back to basic smoothing, the dots/spacing stayed. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Krita, as well as turned my computer on and off again several times, can someone please tell me how to fix it?
(edit) My computer uses Windows 10, and flips into tablet mode which I use a Lenovo pen with. I was using the basic-5_size brush, but it affects all the pressure sensitive brushes, and I tested this on FireAlpaca and the brushes work fine there. (image: https://ibb.co/6R09PBY) (edit 2) I also have a Wacom Intuos tablet, and when I plugged that in it worked fine, the same brush was as smooth as always. It's only with the Lenovo pen and only in Krita that this seems to be happening. (edit 3) It works like normal in the scratchpad on the brush settings, it's only doing this in the specific circumstances of the Lenovo pen on Krita in the canvas. If any of those are changed it's normal? This is proably unfixable. But if you know how, please help because I'd really like to be able to use these pressure sensitive brushes again.

Which brush preset you used?
A image would help indeed. You can use this server (free): https://imgbb.com/ And after upload it you can copy its link. |

I was using the basic-5_size brush, but it affects every pressure sensitive brush. Here's some of them: https://ibb.co/6R09PBY (thanks for the website, I wanted to put an image but wasn't sure how)

If you have tried those things and it still isn't working, it probably isn't related to the stabilizer.
it sounds like some type of tablet driver issue that isn't sending events very well to Krita. What operating system are you on and what type of tablet do you have? One thing that sometimes solves the issues is re-installing your tablet drivers. |

My OS is Windows, but I'm not using a tablet. I have a 2-in-1 computer that flips over and comes with a pen to draw on the screen, like a Surface

Well, it will be a really pleasure do draw with this capability of your pen/screen.
Look at this topic. I posted something about the "pressure curves". Maybe you can "play" with this until it works. https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=139&t=161935&p=421192#p421192 Let me know the results. Good Luck. |
