can't see my drawings in realtime

Fri Aug 23, 2019 6:41 pm
installed krita 4.2.5 and launched it. However, i have an issue as my illustration don't show up until i do an action such as go to the next frame, etc. meaning i can't see what i'm doing whilst i'm doing it (drawing).

I assume you're working on an animation since you mention "go to the next frame".
Can you provide a link to a full screenshot showing your Layers docker, Timeline docker and Animation docker?

Issues like these are usually caused by the display updating weirdly. Can you go to configure Krita and then into the display tab and try some of the following. Check whether trying any of the 'prefered renderers' work. On Windows there are 3 options, on Linux and MacOS there's only OpenGL. If that doesn't work, turn off graphics acceleration alltogether (make sure it was on in the first place!).

If that doesn't work, please report a bug at bugs.kde.org with the information from hep->system info for bugreports.
