Hello there,
I have run into the following problem running Krita on a new PC (OS is Windows 10 Enterprise): when entering canvas only mode, the screen instantly darkens so that the lightest value is a mid-grey. Interestingly, whatever this filter is, it is temporarily deactivated for as long as any kind of pop-up hover text appears on screen (like the text that shows up when you hover over a brush, or the notification for autosaves), and when taking a screenshot with print it shows the correct values, rather than the darkened ones. I'd appreciate any help you might be able to give as to what this filter is and how it can be dealt with. I've tried to solve the problem by playing around with the Windows display settings, installing more recent graphics card drivers and even fiddling with the options on my monitor, but I haven't had any luck so far. Edit: dude just reinstall the display driver without the bloatware lmao |

Could you tell us which GPU and which driver so we know what to ask for when people come up with this in the future?

It's a Radeon RX 570. What I reinstalled was the display driver on the "GPU Tweak II" disc that came with the card.
