Using MacBook pro...Huion Pro16 pen display...
yesterday I spent hours trying to find out how to lay image and new file side by side
I was following a tutorial and the instructions required me to drop down Windows menu and click Tile
Windows doesn't show that option..a couple of times [before] opening the file I could see Tile (shadow) and same with some other options in that menu but not after opening new file
I found the option in preferences...not tile but a different link
Has the process changed due to version upgrades?
or is it incompatibility issues?

Go to settings -- and as a mac user, I guess you know that the settings option is in the application menu, and also reachable with the command-, shortcut -- and enable subwindow mode instead of tabbed mode.
