I'm currently rocking:
Processor: Intel Core i5-7400 CPU @3.00GHz
Installed RAM: 12.0GB
Pen support
GPU: AMD Radeon rx 580
Krita version: krita-nightly-x64-v4.3.0-prealpha-549-ga94d1a85fe (the most recent krita nightly build as of 9/26/29)

I also use a dual monitor setup with a 1920x1080 huion kamvas pro 16, and a SONY tv

So the issue is when I try to create a brush, the brush engine loads, but the size of it takes up my entire monitor, with no way to scale down. The screenshot I shared is the entire area of my screen, and you can see how the window goes a little beyond that. There are some brushes I need to create. Now, I'm unable to make use of the overhauled brush creation system krita 4 has to offer. The issue persists even when I use one monitor.

Hey, you probably have Windows scaling on, which is usually not needed on fullHD screens unless your display is 10 inches or something like that. But I think now Windows comes with 150% scaling by default...

So to turn it off just for Krita, go to Configure Krita -> General -> Window -> enable HiDPI (uncheck it). Then click alt+O, unless you see the OK button, then just click OK. Restart Krita. The UI should become a bit smaller, including the UI for brush editor.

Hi! I appreciate the helpful solution, but I was wondering if it was possible to fix the brush editor window without the whole program becoming too small? I am on a HP Pavilion 14DW with a 1920x1080 resolution, an I5 processor, 8GB RAM, and Intel Integrated Graphics card. I have the latest Krita update as of 10/17/2021. The picture should demonstrate the issue. Thanks!!!
