Hi All!
I've been experiencing a really random pressure issue in Krita 4.2.6 (and only in Krita, all other programs work fine). When I initially installed and used the program, everything worked beautifully. Then after a week I noticed Krita would not recognize my pen pressure on initial launches. It was like using a mouse. I had two workarounds for this. 1. Open Krita, then unplug and replug my Tablet. -or- 2. Draw a stroke, [Right Click] on my workspace, choose a different brush from the popup, draw another stroke ... then switch back to my first brush. I have *no* idea why either method works (especially #2), but both consistently restore pressure sensitivity. Unfortunately, performing this process on every fresh reboot is rather annoying. I looked into other possible fixes as well. 1. Reset Krita - This one initially worked well. I deleted krita.log, kritadisplayarc and krtiarc from Local AppData.. essentially resetting the program to factory. It worked for a few days then eventually went bad again. I tried it a second time and it didn't work. Weird. 2. Windows Ink - I also tried turning ON Windows Ink in my tablet driver settings and in Krita. This works very well, but it's total madness everywhere else on my system. And it also breaks the right click functionality on Krita for the tools popup. bleh So here I am, stuck. Hoping someone else has experienced this and can give some insight into possible solutions. Below is my technical info for reference. Thanks for any help anyone can provide. Windows 10 Home | XP-Pen Deco Pro | Krita 4.2.6 | Windows Ink OFF in Tablet Driver Settings | WinTab in Krita Tablet Configuration Settings |
