my OS is windows 10, the problematic krita version is 4.2.6.
I don't know exactly the cause of the problem, so I will describe what I have done to potentially reproduce the bug. My file has some big group layers (I will call them group layer A for better understanding). In each group layer A, there are 8 group layers (group layer B). In each group layer B, there are 8 clone layers where most of them also have a transform mask. Below is a picture to show the structure of the layers. --------------------------------------- boundary ---------------------------------------------- A | B B B B B B B B ---------------------------------------- boundary ----------------------------------------------------- ... B | clone clone clone clone clone clone clone clone (most clone have transform mask) ---------------------------------------- boundary ------------------------------------------------ To make it crash, there are several potential actions: 1. Simply toggling visibility of the group layer A can cause crash, but sometimes it doesn't. However, toggling group layer B will not crash. 2. Moving nodes across group layer A. 3. Opening such file will crash (10% chance not crashing, but for serious case, 0% chance) I have downgraded my krita back to 4.1.7 and I could open my file successfully without any crash. I can also do nodes movement without crash. |

Please try to get a crash log and create a bug on bugs.kde.org. See https://docs.krita.org/en/reference_man ... ml#dr-minw for instructions.
