Hello, this is my first time on this forum, I hope everyone is doing well!
I installed Kirta earlier today so I could test out my new Huion Pro 13. Everything was working smoothly until I tried using the touch bar/express keys on my tablet to zoom in and out. The program said that I was zooming in/out, but nothing actually changed. I tried manually zooming in with the slider in the program and the issue remained. The entirety of Krita seems to be lagging terribly now; I can't draw at all since the lines are massively delayed (have to restart to get them to appear) and my cursor doesn't follow along when I move my pen. Uninstalling Krita and redownloading it did not fix the problem either. Does anyone know how to fix this, while preferably getting the touch bar/express key zooms to work as well? Thanks in advance ![]() PS: I'm running Krita on a Windows 10 64 bit computer. |

There few things you could try:
https://docs.krita.org/en/contributors_ ... -solutions https://docs.krita.org/en/user_manual/d ... ng-windows In Configure Krita > Display try changing the Preferred Renderer option between OpenGL and ANGLE, and switching the input API in the Tablet settings from WinTab to Windows Ink (Windows 8+ Pointer Input) - Restart Krita after changing those. Also check whether toggling View > Instant Preview Mode makes a difference. And in case the Krita interface appears very big on your screens: Under Configure Krita > General > Window, try disabling the option for Hi-DPi support. If you can't see the OK button at the bottom press Alt+O (the letter O) to confirm, and restart Krita. If that doesn't work, first go to your Windows Display settings, change the Scale option to 100%, then do the above steps in Krita, then you can reset the Scale option in Windows to the previous value. |

Thank you! Changing to OpenGL let me get the pens working, although it was a bit laggier than ANGLE, so I kept it on that. I took your advice and messed around with the tablet settings and the zoom has been working very well for the last few hours. (A bit finicky and sometimes adjusts my pen sizes randomly, but not much of a problem at all.)
