Question on freehand path tool

Mon Oct 21, 2019 6:15 pm
Hello

I am new to Krita and currently using Krita 4.2.6 and learning the tools through a youtube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FLF-1_66T6A
and at the 9Min 20 Sec mark he discusses the freehand path tool and in the discussion at the 10Min 30Second mark he shows lines.

I am unable to locate the lines drop down using the tool docker and looking through the different screen(s).

Is there a setting or some other option that needs to be selected to activate the lines option.

Thank you in advance to anyone that responds.

That video is just over two years old so he's probably using version 3.2 or older and there have been changes since then.
The 'lines' section is about line styles and that is only applicable to vector lines and now is only seen in the Tool Options when you select a vector line or curve for editing and choose the line style tab. You can use it to make a line/curve be solid, dotted, dashed and with endpoint and centre arrows and dots.
