Hey I'm new to the program and would like to disable drawing with my finger if I'm using the pen. I like to rest my palm on the screen and don't want my palm movement to be recorded.

Go to Configure Krita -> General -> Tools -> Enable Touch Painting. Make sure it's unchecked. That should do the trick, at least the worst case. But it should be a role of a tablet driver (or Windows? or something?) to do palm rejection, I think... But disabling touch painting should help anyway.

OS
Follow the below trick
1. Visit Configure Krita
2. Then click on General
3. Tools
4. Then Enable the touch Painting.

This tip worked for me
