With the new macOS and a fresh install of Krtia (multiple tries), this message appears: https://imgur.com/D1or4Y1
What do you recommend?? |

Basically, you can either check your system whether you can disable this annoying security feature or wait a week or two until we get notarizing done.
Apple now requires all programs to be sent to them so they can "check" them and give some kind of a sign of approval. And only then you can run it. Which is absurd, you should be able to do whatever you want on your own system. Anyway, Catalina and its requirement to notarize apps the way I described - make an account, upload the app to Apple server, wait until it gets checked, get the checked and notarized app, upload to the website - happened a bit earlier than we expected and for now we had some trouble making it work. Now it should get a bit more smoothly, so we hope to get it done soon. Please be patient. (Someone else may be more precise in *when* it will happen; I'm not involved in this process. Last time I've heard about it, it was about us waiting for something to happen on Apple's side, which can take a week... and then we'll need to do all those things (upload the program etc.) I explained above... so there for sure are still some traps to fall into). |

Well, actually, you don't need to wait anymore: https://krita.org/en/item/first-notariz ... -of-krita/ - it's a build from a stable branch, you can consider it 4.2.7 and a half
