HI,
I have a project with a White background. When I export it as a png file, the backgroud becomes a shade of grey. When exporting as other format like jpeg or bmp the background stays white as desired. I really wish i could use the png format. Any ideas as how to fix that? As PNG https://imgur.com/a/8ee6B4B As BMP https://imgur.com/a/q0gnupx |

Could you also provide a link to your .kra project?

Okay, this image is in CMYK. This means that the only useful other format other than .kra is going to be tiff, since neither jpeg nor png support CMYK properly. Since you're using the default CMYK swop profile, you didn't get a CMYK profile from your printer. No matter what people might have told you, CMYK is not necessary for printing, unless your printer supplied you with the correct profile file.
Please check https://docs.krita.org/en/general_concepts/colors.html# for more information about color managment. Just convert this image to 8 bits RGBA with the default sRGB color profile, and if your printer makes a hash of that, don't pay him, because if he does, he doesn't know his job. |

Thank you. Changing the color space to RGB in the krita project worked.
