Krita Brush Issue

Mon Nov 11, 2019 8:47 pm
Hello forum,

I am having trouble making a brush that I have in AutoDesk Sketchbook in Krita.

The brush I have does this in Sketchbook when it overlaps a color:

Here are the brush's settings in Sketchbook:

When I try to configure the same brush in Krita, I get this when I overlap a color:

It does not cover the color completely, leaving a silhouette of it behind.

Here are the brush's settings in Krita:

I have not seen this problem being mentioned anywhere and is driving me crazy since I feel like I am the only one experiencing it.
Am I misunderstanding how the flow or opacity settings work in Krita? I would be grateful with any help on this since this problem is preventing
me to switch to Krita.

Please check out Airbrush and Painting Mode options. They should have text descriptions and you'll see if they fix your issue from experiments :)
