Tablet not working with Drawing

Wed Nov 20, 2019 6:22 am
Recently I updated the driver on my Wacom One tablet and attempted to draw on krita. The brush was spotted and didn't draw complete line. I tried updating Krita and updating my drivers and somehow everything worked briefly but without pressure sensitivity. Afterwards, it went back to the same issue as before. Could anyone provide a fix please? Thanks.

The result I'm getting btw. Using the default Pencil-1 Hard brush. https://imgur.com/WNjOgJ5

On my Windows 10 laptop, If I let the computer go into sleep mode, say after a few minutes of inactivity, the Wacom tablet goes insane.

So, when I'm working either with battery or AC power, I make sure the computer cannot go to sleep until I'm done.
That helps me a lot.

I believe the drivers do no know how to recover from sleep mode.

Tried going there first and checked all the things that could be the issue. Still ran into this issue.

If this happened immediately after you updated the tablet driver, it seems certain that is the cause.
Updating to a newer version of krita will only fix those particular bugs that have been fixed for that newer version.

Can you try uninstalling the newer tablet driver and reinstalling the one that came with your tablet, or get an older version from the Wacom website.

Also, as I remember with Wacom on Windows, it does love to try to update itself and an autoupdate broke mine quite quickly, so I reverted to the old one and used a free firewall application to block the Wacom driver's and Wacom control utility's access to the internet.

Even after that, a Windows update broke it and I had to wait for another Windows update to fix it. It seems to be very tightly integrated with the Windows OS.
Can you try running the Windows update and hope that fixes it?

Went back to an older version and that fixed it. Version 6.3.36-1 of wacom one drivers work. Anything past that and it starts to stop working. Thanks friend
